For each Scoundrel template, gain +1 to hiding.
A: +2 LD, Mega Toolkit
B: +1 LD, Backstab
C: +1 LD, Quick Hands
D: +2 LD, Boundless Luck

Luck Die (LD)
You can spend LD after failing a check, the LD are then added to the final result as D4’s. The more desperate you are, the more fickle your luck is. If an LD rolls under or equal to the amount of LD rolled, that LD is lost until the next full rest. (If you roll three LD, results of 1, 2 and 3 causes the dice to be lost).

  • LD spent on attack and defense checks are automatically lost.

Mega Toolkit
Whenever in a settlement, you may spend any amount of available weight slots and currency to create or update a Mega Toolkit. At a later date you may mark off weight slots and currency to retroactively purchase mundane items and produce them from the Mega Toolkit up to the previously spent currency and weight slots. Only a single Mega Toolkit can exist per Scoundrel, but they can create replacements.

Whenever you gain this ability, add a Mega Toolkit with 2d4 weight slots and a total worth of D100 SP.

Backstab
LD spent on attacks are also applied to damage if the enemy is caught unaware. Different to normal attacks, these LD has a chance to be recovered.

Quick Hands
All of your item slots can be accessed instantly rather than just three. In additions, actions involving manipulating equipment or the environment that would take an action can now be done once per turn as a free action.

Boundless luck

For the purposes of determining lost LD, count as if you invested one less LD.
