Caronia Philippines recently released a collection called Shades of Summer. It has six polishes all of which have been released before so I wasn't planning on buying any but their new polishes are now 3-free so I bought three out of the six shades. I just wanted to see how their new formula differed from their old one. Hihi.

First Crush is a rich lilac polish with blue undertones. It strongly reminds me of the ube ice cream I usually see at the grocery store.

When I swatched this before, I found the formula to be goopy but now, I have to say, I'm impressed. I only used two coats and I didn't have any problems at all. Whew.

On the Go is a gorgeous teal polish. I don't think I have anything similar to it yet. It's definitely time to start hoarding this shade. lol.

Summer Fling is a deep pink polish with red/plum undertones. I compared my new swatches with my old ones and I think it's more red and darker now. Hmmmm.

Anyway, I used two coats for these swatches. And I didn't have any problems with application at all. I'm still torn about its new hue though. I'm leaning more towards its old pinkish tone than this new one. But it's still gorgeous.

Lastly, I tried adding a matte top coat to see what all three would look like matte. And they're sooo pretty~ I can't wait to play with them again - maybe add some stamping on top. Weee~ What do you think? Which one's your favorite? Thanks for dropping by! Good bye and I'll see you again soon!
