Hello, beauties!
Lotus Herbals has recently launched a new range of lip balm with four pretty shades. Today, I am going to share my views about Lotus Herbals Lip Lush Tinted Lip Balm Strawberry Crush. Let’s get started.
Price: INR 145 for 4g
Product Description and Ingredients:
My Experience with Lotus Herbals Lip Lush Tinted Lip Balm Strawberry Crush:
Packaging:
The lip balm comes in a colour-coded paper outlet with some information. It looks quite girly and pretty. The actual lip balm comes in a color-coded deep pink plastic tube with a cap. It looks cute and is quite travel-friendly. But this particular tube doesn’t work smoothly and the bullet is strong enough, so it has already started to break from the side.
Shade:
The shade Strawberry Crush is a nice deep pink shade and it’s the most pigmented shade in this range. It looks beautiful on all skin tones. Such pink shades are quite apt for teenagers who don’t want to apply lipstick all the time but want some color on their lips. It can hide lip pigmentation as well.
Texture and Quality:
The texture of this lip balm is very smooth and soft, hence it glides well. But the formula has already started to melt from the tube and it’s breaking from the side. I am not sure how long it will last. Otherwise, this lip balm gives a nice tint to my lips. It has a sweet smell of berries.
The formula is very light and smooth. It doesn’t feel sticky at all. It instantly provides soft, smooth and hydrated lips. The hydration provided by this balm cures dryness but it can’t repair rough or dry texture. My lips are quite dry and this balm provides the desired amount of hydration without making my lips greasy.
It never clings to dry patches and soothes them well. It also has SPF 20 which protects my lips from the sun. The color doesn’t settle into the fine lines and doesn’t crease at all. This lip balm transfers but the softness does not fully vanish.
Staying Power:
The lip balm stays on for a decent amount of time on my lips, i.e. for around 3-4 hours, if I do not eat anything. After that, it starts to fade. It doesn’t stay for 8 hours at all. After that, a reapplication is required. It can’t survive a meal since it is just a lip balm.
Overall:
The shade looks pretty and works nicely as a hydrating lip balm on my lips. It doesn’t last long, so I have to reapply it again and again. After using all four variants, I’ve realized that color as well as hydration provided by these balms are quite good. But, the quality is not up to the marl; in fact, it is disappointing. Also, these products offer the same quality but are priced differently, which is quite odd. I have no idea why the prices vary!

Will I Recommend Lotus Herbals Lip Lush Tinted Lip Balm Strawberry Crush?
Even though the color, smell and hydration levels are good, I am not satisfied with this range. The quality is poor and balm tends to break easily.
