YSL have been hit by a lawsuit from CL after they released shoes with a red sole. Every fashionista worth her Mulberry Alexa knows that the flash of a sexy red sole means one thing, and one thing only - it means, 'Oh hell yes, she went there!'
The red sole has been selling since January as part of the YSL collection, but apparently CL noticed this month and is not exactly impressed....
"(they are) are virtually identical to plaintiff's Red Sole Mark is likely to cause and is causing confusion, mistake and deception among the relevant purchasing public as to the origin of the infringing footwear."
Time will tell who will win this round, but my moneys on Louboutin. At the very least it will be an interesting fight....besides, who could win against a man who can make shoes float ? (see the above pic) after all, I don't know much about physics - but it seems like a safe bet...
